My only complaint would be that they are very sweet.
They're moist and chewey and really do have bits of apples in them.
I just thought they were a little too sweet.
Tasty way to add fiber to your diet and/or grab something quick and easy to eat.

(More customer reviews)These bars are obviously for the health-minded. My favorite are the trail mix but all have been wonderful so far. They are chewy and satisfying. I always want to know first thing what is on the ingredients list and I cut and paste this from the Amazon page:

Then breakfast hot cereal makers started adding sweeteners, which at first, seemed OK, but as I grew less needy of the morning sugar fix, they all seemed too sweet. This is a perfect blend of taste and fiber for both my husband and I, who buy it two boxes at a time and always seem to run out. Great for traveling, camping, or using as a "safe food" after a bout with the flu or stomach problems.

(More customer reviews)Nature's Path Maple Pecan Crunch is by far the tastiest cereal I've had in a very long time. You can feel good about supporting this company because they are committed to sustainable farming and Earth-friendlier business practices (according to the marketing on the box anyway). Even if you didn't care about that, you'll like the cereal. I'm eating it right now straight out of the box as I write this review. It's very hard to stop! The flax flakes and rolled oat clusters are very crunchy and satisfying. I can also clearly taste the maple syrup flavor.
One box is 6 servings, with each serving providing 220 calories (60 from fat) and 20% of your daily dietary fiber intake (5g). If I had any complaints, it's that the box is a bit small. It is only 11.5 ounces compared to 13 or 14 for other Nature's Path cereal which contain 7 servings. Secondly, the sugar content could perhaps be toned down a bit to trim back some calories because it's very sweet. One serving is counted as 3/4 cup, compared to 1 cup for many other cereals. Because of the pecans, it packs more energy (calories) into a smaller volume than, say, Kellogg's Raisin Bran Cereal, which counts 1 cup as a serving, with 190 calories (15 from fat).

At any rate, it's a very delicious cereal and one I'll be buying it again!

Oskri Organic Kosher Bars Review

(More customer reviews)I bought a box of these bars as an organic alternative to the usual Joyva sesame snaps that I buy. The date syrup also seemed like a good alternative to sugar and HFCS.
However, when I received the box of sesame bars I was dismayed to realize that the bars are mostly syrup (over 75%)!!
Regardless of the organic ingredients and alternative sweeteners, these are much less healthy than I thought - they're basically sugar with a few sesame seeds thrown in - and they taste that way.
On the Amazon website it lists the ingredients for these Oskri bars as:
Organic Sesame Seeds (49%), Organic Date Syrup (26%), Organic Brown Rice Syrup (25%).
The ACTUAL ingredient list on the package is:
Rice Syrup, Sesame Seeds (23.5%), Date Syrup (12%)
I realize that Amazon has a disclaimer about ingredient lists, but this is a real disappointment!
I would argue that the packaging is really misleading - these aren't sesame bars with date syrup, but rice syrup bars with sesame seeds and only 12% date syrup! I expected a quality product and feel like I vastly overpaid.
Looking at the original (Amazon) ingredient list, I assume that Oskri changed its ingredients to cut costs, but whatever the reason these are neither a good deal, healthy or delicious.
UPDATE:
After writing this review, I checked out Oskri's website and the box that the bars came in - BOTH the website and the box had the old ingredient list (49% sesame seeds) - it was only the bar wrapper that showed the true ingredients of the bar.
Then, I contacted Oskri about the ingredient list issue and the fact that my sesame bars had far fewer sesame seeds than I paid for. I received a very unsatisfactory form email in return - and nothing in response to a second email.
BOTTOM LINE: Do not buy products from Oskri - they seem to have no problem (a) making inferior products and (b) misleading people into buying them and then (c) providing unsatisfactory customer service.
Basically - I wouldn't trust any of their other products to contain the ingredient formulations advertised.
