(More customer reviews)This is a very good cereal. I like having an organic alternative to shredded wheat. I like the texture and size of the biscuits and that it is lightly sweetened throughout. What I don't care for as much is that this Kashi cereal is too "cinnamony" for me. I don't fault the cereal since it is called "Cinnamon Harvest", after all. However, I would prefer a more subtle cinnamon taste. I like Kashi Autumn Harvest better.

(More customer reviews)As a big cereal fan I like to try out new products (especially when on sale :). I am very happy to have picked this one up! The cereal is similar in taste and shape to Cap'n Crunch, but the pieces are smaller and more wholesome (made with Kashi's 7 Whole Grains).
My general criteria for cereal is that it should have a reasonable amount of fiber and less than 10g of sugar. This particular cereal has an even fiber/sugar ratio (6g each) so you know it is healthy. The honey taste is great and hits you right away with each bite.
Highly recommended for those who want a healthy cereal with a better taste than Cheerios or Oatmeal.

(More customer reviews)This cereal is ugly. It really looks like one of those "gross" health cereals that your grandma eats as you stare in fear and awe. With great relief, however, I can tell you that it simply tastes like a pleasant mix of wheat flakes and graham crackers. The benefits of the yogurt bacteria, broccoli, and fiber are really great, too, and quickly apparent.
I do have one word of warning. There are some people who eat the half cup of cereal recommended and some people who curl up with a bowl the size of their head in front of the TV. If you fall into the latter category, understand that you have just shifted your digestive system into overdrive. This may surprise you in multiple ways, none of which I will mention.

Most people - myself included - do not get enough fiber in their diet, so I decided to try it. The article was correct - the taste is fabulous. Even my 8 yr old son loves the cereal and if he had any clue it was healthy, he wouldn't be eating it. We have a cup as an afterschool snack quite a few nights each week during homework.

I got this strawberry fields at local market for 2.99 and
island vanilla for same price. It wasn't surprising sale or anything. They always have that price. I looked it up on amazon and i was so shoked.

(More customer reviews)Kashi Organic Promise Cinnamon Harvest is a great example of how simple ingredients can deliver great taste. It has three basic organic ingredients: wheat, evaporated cane juice, and cinnamon. I am impressed by the amount of flavor that this cereal has. It is not a knock you over the head in your face and overly powerful experience. However if you are looking at a cereal like this, you likely have different priorities to begin with.
Cinnamon Harvest is a fairly dense cereal with a one cup serving coming in at 190 calories - more than 50% more than a lighter cereal such as Kashi Organic Promise Strawberry Fields. On the flip side, I find a serving of Cinnamon Harvest stays with me longer than Strawberry Fields does. It really depends on what you are looking for, and the tastes between the two are completely different as well.
Like most "wheat biscuit" type cereals Cinnamon Harvest holds up well in milk although I have found this to be true of most Kashi cereals.
Overall, if you want a wheat cereal with great taste and natural ingredients, you should give Kashi Organic Promise Cinnamon Harvest a try.

Then breakfast hot cereal makers started adding sweeteners, which at first, seemed OK, but as I grew less needy of the morning sugar fix, they all seemed too sweet. (More customer reviews)As a serial cereal eater, I have had my bouts of addiction throughout my life from Apple Jacks and Count Chocula during my early childhood through an extensive adolescence with Sugar-Frosted Flakes, a short-lived health-oriented period with Bran Flakes and of course, my self-deceptive dieting tactics using Special K. My latest has been Kashi's Heart to Heart, which I find flavorful and filling. There is a slightly sweet taste which has something to do with the light honey glaze on the Cheerio-looking rings, though the most pervasive flavor is a toasted oat. I don't find a need for sugar, but I do like to pile up blueberries if I have them in the fridge.
I have to admit that I have used it as a dinner replacement on really lazy evenings. The best part is that the low-fat, low-sodium cereal is heart-friendly (thus the name) with one gram of soluble fiber per serving. The box claims 11 servings of 3/4 cup each, which for a cereal lover, is a stretch. I've been lucky to eke out eight bowls since I tend to overflow the bowl. Still, the calorie count is reasonable at 110 of which only 15 come from fat. For a price that is on par with local retailers, Amazon delivers the cereal in cases of six boxes, which I think is a reasonable medium-term amount.

(More customer reviews)Great taste and crunch, but I feel these have too much sugar (even if Kashi calls it dehydrated cane juice...that is sugar). I guess I am just used to eating less sweat cereal, but my first bite of the cereal made me pick up the box again and see what was in it. Organic and all that too, for what it is worth. Kellogg's Unfrosted Mini Wheats have no added sugar (1g of sugar in a 59g serving) whereas the Kashi has 7g of sugar in a 54g serving.

At work, my chair really takes a pounding and the warm odor of high-fiber farts lingers most of the morning, making my irksome coworkers more reluctant to bother me.
The only down side is that unless you let it soak a long time, it's like trying to eat a bowl of rocks. Warming it in the microwave improves the soaking time and is great for the cold winter months!
