My only suggestion - buy multiple bags or you'll regret paying the shipping charges for a tester amount (which is what I did). I also got the sweet potato flour and it was also in perfect shape. I would buy from this seller (except next time - bigger quantity to save on shipping).

(More customer reviews)It seems that the difference between the black Quinoa (this product) and the regular (white?) quinoa is that the black still has the edible hull on it. Any quinoa is healthy and nutritious but I prefer the regular (white) version. The black quinoa is heavier in the stomach, more filling and does not pick up the taste of garlic or other seasonings or flavors added to it as well as the regular quinoa dies.
I suspect the black version has a lot more fiber than the white due to the hulls and as a result may prove to be the ultimate colon cleanse diet.
Either one seems to cause a lot of flatulence, though it generally seems to be a rather harmless, inert, odorless gas. You may find that you startle people around you as you backfire but you are not likely to injure or poison or overcome anyone with your pungent odors.

You simply add a few spoonfuls to your oatmeal... my grandpa's cholesterol went down 50 points in one month. (None of his medication had been able to do that.)
My 5 y.o. daughter didn't notice this in her oatmeal... I tried it, and there is no added taste, just health benefits :)
Great product. We always have it at our house.

When I cooked with it, it tasted bitter like poison, which is a sign of rancidity for millet flour. I looked at the expiration date and it was within a month. So I had to throw all the bags away.

(More customer reviews)I have tried 10 different brands of flaxseed meal and can tell you that this is by far the best tasting and has the most consistent quality. There are two types of flaxseeds, brown and golden. Both have the same nutritional value, but golden flaxseed is significantly smoother in taste and not as pungent/bitter aftertaste. I especially like Bob's Red mill for the organic offerings at a minimal price increase. I regularly sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons on my cereal in the morning to give it a nutritional punch of fiber, protein and essential fatty acids. The texture is very fine and almost has no noticeable effect on the cereal, if I went with 1 Tbls, you wouldn't even know it was there. I highly recommend giving Bob's products a try, I am sure you will find it as enjoyable as I have. Always store flaxseed meal refrigerated, opened or not.

(More customer reviews)I love this cereal; I eat it every morning with maple syrup or honey, raisins, and walnuts. It is never pasty for me, as it is for the other reviewer, unless I let it cook way too long or let it sit to cool too long. I cook it for five minutes, turn off the heat and let it thicken a couple of minutes more as I add my raisins and walnuts and maple syrup. Then I stir in rice milk until I get it to the consistency I like. Though I don't like rice milk by itself or on any other cereal, it does taste really good on this rice cereal, with the added benefit of making the whole thing easier to digest. Rice cereal is the easiest cereal to digest, anyway, but adding rice milk instead of cow's milk makes it even more easier.

(More customer reviews)I had been using Bob's Red Mill coconut flour for all my gluten-free baking but decided to try this brand because it was cheaper. And, let's just say you get what you pay for!! This coconut "flour" isn't flour at all... it's coconut meal. It's much more course than Bob's Red Mill and leaves all my baked goods with a undesirable grainy texture. I would absolutely not recommend this brand, however, I do recommend coconut flour in general. It's an absolutely wonderful substitute for grain flours.

Bob's Rice flours are finely milled so there isn't that gritty taste in your foods. I order at least 2 cases of each a month and I've never had a problem with any of my flours and all those I've received have been labeled "organic". Would love to see Amazon offer Bob's Sweet Rice Flour and their White Bean Flour, too.
