(More customer reviews)IMO, Pop-Tarts are not the most nourishing food, but they're convenient for when everyone is running late ... for school, work, or appointments.
The kids like them because they're easy to pop into the toaster or microwave and they taste good--anything that's sweet, you know! Most kids I know seem to prefer the strawberry and chocolate-flavored Pops, but blueberry is my favorite. Clarification: I like them, but do not love them; much too sweet for my taste-buds, but still ... when in a hurry, they come in handy.
I also like them because they have a long shelf life and are quick and easy to prepare. If you have very young children, either heat the Pop-Tarts yourself or supervise the kids as they pop them into the appliance of your choice. Don't want those little fingers getting burned!
Kids learn fast, and all they have to do is remove the Pop-Tarts from the pouch and pop them into the toasting appliance or microwave. Be sure to let the Pop-Tarts cool briefly because the filling can get very hot. When using the microwave, use a microwave-safe plate.
And that's all there is to it!
Like I said, not the most nourishing food--although they contain some healthy ingredients--but it's quick energy and great for rush hours. We all have plenty of those.

(More customer reviews)Believe it or not, I bought a case of unfrosted brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts as a Christmas gift! I couldn't find these in ANY grocery store in my area, so I was thrilled to see I could order these from Amazon grocery. There was a glitch with my order; instead of getting a whole case I only received one box. In a panic, I emailed customer service, and within a few days I had the other 11 boxes. The recipient of this gift was so happy! (she's not in to the frosted pop tarts). Thanks Amazon!

It's almost like eating an Oreo, but without the extra fat and with added vitamins. They're marvelous as a pie crust too! Not to mention, crumbled up on top of a hot fudge sundae! Great stuff, comes fresh too, highly recommend!

(More customer reviews)I have been searching for the 20% fiber strawberry pop tarts in my local supermarkets. My regular store used to carry them and I would stock up on them, but I haven't seen them recently. I was so happy when I found them on Amazon! I realize they're not exactly health food, but I really look forward to something quick and sweet first thing in the morning before I walk my dogs. They're a decent option with 5 grams of fiber and a couple of grams of protein. These are my guilty little secret and I don't want to give them up. I hope Kellogg's continues to make them!
