(More customer reviews)I suspect that raw pumpkin seeds (pepitas) are better for you than roasted and salted, but evidently it is an acquired taste. Unlike some raw pumpkin seeds at the health food store, they are not bitter. But I have to mix in 25% roasted and salted for me to like eating them.
Unlike the illustration, they are the same green color as the raw ones you see in the health food store.

(More customer reviews)We recently discovered we have to eat Gluten Free. I am thrilled to find this pasta! I don't know about the others but this one, the spirals are very good! It does not taste identical to regular pasta...we think it is even better. One of the things I was going to miss the most was pasta and now I don't have to!! One note: cook less time than the package says. It says around 16 minutes. I kept a close eye on it and at around 9 minutes it was done. With a sauce or in any recipe, no one will know this is not the real thing! Gluten is becoming a source of many medical problems, not just celiac disease, but also things like autism in children and fibromyalgia.

I am type 2 diabetic and these have never negatively effected my blood sugar. The only hard part of dealing with A Bountiful Harvest is deciding which treat to get next. Yummy!! Try them with a bite of the dark chocolate and WOW what a treat!!

Tortoises weren't sure immediately but once they tried it they didn't leave much resdue behind on the food trays. I have 6 tortoises and use this as a supplement evey couple of days... The jar lasts about a month that way.

(More customer reviews)I always liked Grape-Nuts Flakes better than Grape-Nuts. The regular Grape-Nuts are too much like chewing gravel to me. The flakes have a great nutty flavor. They do get soggy very quickly, though. Sometimes I like them that way. If you don't like soggy cereal, I recommend cutting the serving in half, eat the first half with milk, then add the second half to the remaining milk. Or just eat fast :)
