(More customer reviews)Did not even try it. It contains peanut oil as the second ingrediant! I bought it because it was almond and did not say anything about having a peanut product in it. Use caution! My significant other is deathly allergic to anything wtih peanuts. I could have killed her!

(More customer reviews)I have tried other brands of sunflower seed butter spread, and this is the best brand. SunButter comes the closest to tasting like peanutbutter, from what I can remember (been years since I was diagnosed with severe intolerance to nuts and peanuts).
This brand has a good balance between salty and sweet, and has a roasted seed flavor that gives it the little extra yumminess. Other brands taste flat compared to Sunbutter.
I eat this on fruit (apples & bananas & some cinnamon), toast, rice cakes, soy cream, smoothies, sandwiches, and by itself on a spoon. Makes me feel like I have one less "hole" in my diet, and a great protein treat to boot!

I tried a lot of other gluten free cereals and they were not filling, would get soggy, and often were so full of sweeteners, they even left my mouth feeling raw. Perky's Nutty Flax is awesome! It is filling, not too sweet, tastes great on yogurt or can be eaten alone. And it stays crunchy for a long time, an added bonus for a busy mom in the mornings. I highly recommend this cereal for anyone with Celiac Disese that used to love cereal. In fact, I need to start buying this in bulk since the rest of my family discovered it and loves it. I is so nice that my kids, who do not have Celiac Disease, eat a healthy cereal like this.

I'm planning on curtailing my consumption of them since: 1) I received an empty, but sealed, box 2) There are quality and consistency problems. (e.g. bars with debris or other food material on them; bars of varying sizes; inadequate or sloppy packaging) 3) varying quality of customer service (e.g. was supposed to receive a coupon for the empty box, but haven't etc.)
They are, however, a very convenient snack.

They do not fall apart while being held by toddlers and preschoolers, which is helpful in the car. Plus, peanut free! It is difficult to find a good price on allergen safe snack foods. Amazon has a great price on these. My only wish is that they were available to subscribe and save. That would make this perfect!
