(More customer reviews)I have purchased this product at a much higher price in stores. I was glad to see it being carried by Amazon at a lower price. I was disappointed in the quality however. There was at least one "woody" palm heart in every can. I have never had this happen before when I had purchased them locally. To have an entire case like this was quite an unpleasant surprise! Palm hearts are one of my favorite foods and I will purchase them again, but will probably try another brand.

But Texmati has all the fragrance of basmati rice, the fiber of brown rice and it comes in a wonderful clear square plastic jar that is great for filling with beans or popcorn when it is empty. This rice smells like pecans when cooking and tastes great. You can cook it up as pilaf with raisins, almonds and chicken or vegetable broth for a delicious side dish. Try it also by browning it in olive oil with a half cup of orzo per cup of rice and then make pilaf with broth. It is delicious.

(More customer reviews)You can see the REAL apples in these. I think they taste great and my kids love them. They do not fall apart while being held by toddlers and preschoolers, which is helpful in the car. Plus, peanut free! It is difficult to find a good price on allergen safe snack foods. Amazon has a great price on these. My only wish is that they were available to subscribe and save. That would make this perfect!
